• The laboratory was open to service in 1980. 

• In the laboratory, the blood typing and DNA microsatellite analysis are performed in horses.

• In the laboratory, the DNA analysis for parentage testing was started on the 30 November 2004.

• Colts, mother and father stated in the registration certificate are checked to establish the pedigree.

• In the case of suspicious mother and fatherhood, analyses are also carried out to clarify the situation.
  
  Our laboratory is a member of International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG).
